Functional Fitness Training

We’re excited to share that Functional Fitness New Plymouth uses PRVN Training for our daily class programming and extra programming options for all your training needs and goals. All delivered through our members’ app. PRVN training’s mantra is “Train harder. Think smarter,” and that’s exactly what you can expect from their approach. Designed to improve athletic performance for individuals of all fitness levels, PRVN’s programming is built on a dedication to high-quality training.

PRVN’s programming is designed to improve athletic performance and is led by strength coach Shane Orr and Rogue athlete Tia-Clair Toomey – 8x Fittest Woman on Earth, Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, and Australian Olympian and HYROX athlete. The program focuses on recovery and mindset and aims to help athletes develop longevity and pursue their fitness goals. Whether your goal is to build a solid foundation or to compete at a higher level, PRVN’s systematic structure helps ensure every class is purposeful and progressive.

Extra Programming
If you’re aiming to compete or take your training up a notch, our competitive, Oly lifting, Gymnastics and PUMP tracks offer bonus workouts – You’ll tackle extra strength work, skill sessions, and conditioning drills that push your athletic potential even further.
HYBRID Conditioning
Conditioning focuses on improving your body's overall fitness. It involves high-intensity exercises that are designed to increase your heart rate and burn calories. This type of training is perfect for those who want to lose weight build muscle and improve their overall health. Ideal for Hyrox training with all equipment you need to practice the stations, a track measured out for running and a treadmill on site if it's too wet.
